How to Add a Couples Widget to Your iPhone Home Screen

Before you add the widget

Install HeartSee on both iPhones, pair privately with your partner, and open the app at least once after setup. Choose which relationship signal you want to see at a glance: a mood, note, days together, streak, distance, or meaningful date.

Decide together what is comfortable to display. Home Screens can be visible to friends, classmates, family, or coworkers, so a subtle relationship statistic may suit a public screen better than a personal message.

• Update HeartSee and iOS before troubleshooting.
• Confirm both partners completed pairing.
• Choose content that is safe to show around others.

Add HeartSee from the widget gallery

Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen until the apps begin to move. Tap Edit or the plus control, choose Add Widget, search for HeartSee, then swipe through the available sizes and designs. Tap Add Widget and drag it into position.

Apple can adjust the wording or placement of these controls between iOS versions. If HeartSee does not appear, open the app, return to the Home Screen, and try the gallery again after a short wait.

Choose what the widget shows

Touch and hold the HeartSee widget and choose Edit Widget when that option is available. Select the supported content or theme, then tap outside the editor. Some settings are controlled inside HeartSee rather than the Home Screen editor.

Treat the widget as a gentle snapshot. iOS decides when widgets refresh based on system conditions, battery, connectivity, and app activity; it is not a continuously updating live dashboard.

Make it part of a small ritual

A widget is most useful when it supports one easy habit. Share a morning mood, leave a drawing during a busy afternoon, or keep the next visit visible. Avoid turning refresh timing or a missed update into evidence about attention or commitment.
